How much is my home worth?

You may be thinking the frigid temps outside are better suited for winter hibernation but time truly flies and if you are considering a move this year now is a good time to get started with the groundwork.  Many homeowners in the early stages of considering a move are reluctant to seek the knowledge they need to make an informed decision.  There always seems to be one more repair or a bit more cleaning that should be done before talking to "The Realtor"  Now is the perfect time to request a free "on-line" Comparable Market Analysis ( CMA ) of  your homes value and if you decide to make a move there is still a few months to get the house ready for a spring sale.

Dan, this is a great time of the year in my opinion to buy or sell.  I have already Pre-Qualified a number of people this year, so the buyers are out there and the next house to go on the market might be the one that they are looking for.

Dan.... I agree with George. The problem that I have is that I am getting some buyers that want to buy now, but never did the pre-screening process and because of their credit, it's not realistic, if they want low costs and a good rate. I have one guy that it could be about 5 more months. This kind of coincides with what you are talking about. Why wait... why wait last minute in my opinion. It applies to both what you talk about and my example, Good job....

Cyndee... You must be getting all the aging baby boomer's that are getting tired of the cold.

Mana... It always helps to "Be Prepared"

Jeff... I'm don't now much about cleaning up credit but I'm always amazed when people run out and buy a new car while house hunting. 

Suzanne... Many still seem to procrastinate... Many buyer think waiting for a 5-10k price reduction is their best bet but a slight up tick in mortgage rates cost them more in the long run...

Jennifer... You never have anything to fear on my posts...  Unless of course the Truth is Scary!

Thesa... I think the market is picking up as long as the Feds don't harpoon it.

Teri... Sometimes people are afraid to waste our time... I'm very patient and don't mind doing the analysis even if they will not be listing this year...  I'll be happy with their business whenever they're ready to move.
