Thanksgiving is a week away and traditionally marks the start of another season of holiday non-sense. The holidays were once a festive time to enjoy gatherings with friends and family but as the years pass they become more commercialized and more annoying. Tis the season to walk on eggshells so as not do offend some overly sensitive fool.
For those that are not up to date this is the year of the offensive HO. Maybe you remember the backlash Don Imus received when he poked a joke at the wrong batch of girls... well... He's Back
Today I noticed Santa needs to beware.... people may get upset if they hear a Ho-Ho-Ho.
Yes.. The politically correct world is laughable and I still tend to ignore the rules of the masses. As people frantically run around the shopping malls swiping little plastic cards to further their financial demise they might get offended by some quy stuffing cash into the little black kettle and saying Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays - Can anyone justify calling Christmas offensive?

Are you kidding me?!!! What are we going to be left with? What happened to the freedom of speech and all that crap all these same people always turn to!!! I am so mad right now that I don't think I should comment and not because it is about Christmas, it is about everything.
Say it loud and clear my friend!!! I can't stand the holidays anymore for all the implied reasons, and in my opinion, we could bring back the joy with a few offensive "HO's" joining the party!!! [a vision of them in their little fluffy Santa hats....;o)]
With that in mind, where's my Lisa???
Sorry Mana darling.... Time to cover your innocent little eyes now.....
Dan,
The last time I even mentioned Ho's I heard about it from Sandra :0) I am the innocent one for now.
Tom Weiss
MERRY FREAKING CHRISTMAS!!!!
By the way, Jennifer, who's that:-)
Mana.... Settle down little lady.... We still have the freedom to reject the brainwashing.
Jennifer... It would liven up the office Christmas Lunch if we had a nice selection of desserts.
Nancy...Deck the halls... Fa la la la la...... Do they still say GAY apparel? LOL
Cupcake... You look different in every picture I see..
Tom... You must not have used the word in a happy context.
Jason... I did notice a reversal start last year with more people going back to Merry Christmas.
Sardiman... Just like you... Always freaking those ho's....
Jennifer... You still need a bit of nutrition before the junk food...
Thesa... Guess Suzanne will really be calling me a comment whore now... LOL
Guess I'm late to the party.....It will always be "Merry Christmas!" , for it is Christmas, for Heaven's Sake...Any one who doesn't like it can go kiss my
assbutt.Tom - Too funny!
Sandra-
;-) How's that?
Did someone mention my name....
Its a little too soon for all this Merry Christmas & ho ho ho stuff....:)
We are both so on the same page about this subject it isn't even funny!
Maybe that is why I like you and Miss Sandra so much :)
Suzanne... You're a little slow these days... Better pick up the pace Christmas is getting close.
Bright... Yes... This is a great place to have a little fun all day long.
Renee... Nice to see my long lost party girl getting away from localism for a few minutes... Almost like the ol'days.. :-)
Dan,
I prefer to wait until the last minute....kids are getting older it doesn't ltake long to pick up money from the bank! ;)
Dan - the most offensive thing about Christms is the credit card bill arriving in January and getting job as a HO HO HO to pay for all the goodies since the housing market is down! LOL
LOVE THE POST!! You have such a way with contraversial words!
PS...That's why we use the DEBIT now!
