The Running Realtor: Playwright Halloween 5k

A blend of ramblings about Real Estate & Running around New Haven County and the Connecticut Shoreline

Playwright Halloween 5k

The Playwright in New Haven will be the start and finish point for the Halloween 5k again this year.

What:  Playwright Halloween 5k & Kids' Fun Run

When:  Sunday - October 28, 2007 -  9:05 am

Where:  144 Temple St,  New Haven, CT

Strangely I do not recall the details of last years race course but think the area has changed for this run. The race starts on Crown Street traveling south on to State Street then Northeast past Christopher Martins until the turnaround at Eagle & Nash Street.

This is a festive event hosted by the New Haven Rugby Club and will bring out a cast of characters.  Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each division as well as for individual & group best costumes.

Come early and be ready to walk, run or just relax and have fun!  Temperatures have been unseasonably warm so it should be a great day.

Feel free to approach me before or after the run with your real estate questions. I'm always running around the New Haven County so if you need assistance Buying or Selling a home in my territory just remember to google  Dan Cummings, The Running Realtor.

Dan you better run in a few of these races so you can have some of those full size candy bars at Halloween :)

Goerge...I haven't done a 5k since that Middletown event... Looked up my time from last year and Halloween was on of my better runs time wise....  I actually do better resisting larger candy, what gets me is bowls of M&M's or Skittles where I grab a handful every-time I walk by.

Dan the fast time is because of all the energy that you get form all that sugar.  Take a couple of hand full of M&M's with you on the run and I bet you beat last years time :)

Will you fly your broom, walk or run this year?  VERY COOL...work off the calories in anticipation of all the SWEETS coming 3 days later!!

What kind of characters show up?

Dan, How fun, I suggest eating a few of your big candy bars before the run so you can top your time from last year. :0)

Thesa...  With all this running I have managed to pick up more tee shirts then I will ever need.

Jennifer..  Is Lisa a runner?    She's pretty far away though....

Susie... Think I just dress as a Runner....   Don't recall how many dress up,  last year was the first run of this race and there were bits and pieces of costume along the way... The outfits don't hold up very well.

Tom... Surprised the kids race is after the 5k... Usually they do a short run before the main event.

Mana...  We'll see!   I haven't matched that time all year.

No, but I have a sneaky feeling she would run for you though ;)

DAN...today is actually very beautiful!! And...we're expecting a 50% chance of rain. BTW---I'm over baseball (honestly) for the season since my Yanks got knocked out.  As far as the Sox, they will never catch the Yankees...even if we never won another Series!  Thanks for trying to harass me though!  LOL  I appreciate your dedication to my post...   LOL
