I have always been somewhat of a dreamer but in a realistic way. Quick Story.... Going back about 30 years when I got married my wife's favorite band was Fleetwood Mac. Fast forward 13 or 14 years and Fleetwood Mac was coming to town on our anniversary. I was up early and at the box office the morning tickets went on sale, Got great seats!
Next, my crazy thought of an elaborate plan to make this an exceptional night... One of those memories that Money Can't Buy. I hopped on the phone to find out who books shows at the venue. That led me to NYC and to the name of Mick's agent in Hollywood. Being driven and confident my call wasn't caught up in the screening bureaucracy and made it through to the man. After a few minutes to hear me out he said something like.... Dan, I appreciate what you're trying to do but that is impossible..... It can't happen.
Well.... If you don't know me I'll fill you in, impossible means challenging in my world, I like to make things happen. Since I'm getting long winded let me just say that when the band came back for their encore on our anniversary my wife and I were asked to stand for a little presentation and the dedication of John Lennon's song... Imagine performed by Fleetwood Mac! I recall Mick rising up from behind his drums to give me a nod and thumbs up... I did good! The band did great!
Back to Real Estate.... Working in this business allows me the opportunity to make things happen. The transition and upheaval of moving can be stressful for people but whatever the situation I rise to the challenge. Each client is a new adventure and my goal is to create fond memories of the process that leads to your Dream Home.

Dan - That was one heck of a surprise for me - something I will never forget for the rest of my life......Of, course you can always try to top it : )
Dan, you romantic softy!!!
By the way what is up with your picture on the Dashboard are you "floating" both ways these days :)
Dan,
That is a beautiful story, nothing like a good challenge! I love that song...:)
Sandra,
I'm thinking he can top that too... How about a dare...;)
what a great memory - ummm diamonds are always nice ;o)
I think we all lost the real estate part of this because we are so in awe of the wonderful surprise this would be - now I have to go back and read the real estate part again.... lol.... oh yeah dreams happen you are so right - you can and do make them happen
Sandra how about your new favourite band and this time maybe in Europe?
Dan, That was a nice story. I love a good challenge as well. I need to prove it to myself that I am capable of taking care of things.
Missy... No you're not getting old and music will never reveal your age... My kids always thought I was a relic but when they reached their teenage years I aways heard plenty of the 70's music filling their ears.
Sandra... As I said "Realistic Dreamer" some things are tough to top.
George... Don't see any photo problems... Did my story get you all teary eyed and cause a blur?
Suzanne... Over the years I have spent countless hours on silly challenging ideas. But it's always fun.
Sandi... Other people's attitude determines how I treat them, when crossed I can be a bit hard.
Sandi... Other people's attitude determines how I treat them, when crossed I can be a bit hard. :-)
Thesa... Nay... Sticks and stones are hurtful, A lump of coal even transformed to a diamond is still cold.
Mana... Like with most things the challenge of getting there is fun and exciting.
Sandra... I will start planning the big journey... It almost looks like you are there already!
Dan yes I was all chocked up. Now you have done it again, I have to go get a tissue :)
By the way buddy the picture that is coming up for you on my subscribed list is this one, that is why I asked the question.
Even I can't make these things up :)
Dan, Good going! Fleetwood Mac is one of my Favs...
Now I hear there's a "Rumour" if you "Go You Own Way' you may risk a "Landslide" on that anniversary hike you have in mind.
So make the "Lovin' Fun" and "Imagine" a trip to Paris tfor the "Gold Dust Woman" of your "Dreams" LOL!
Ginger
Sandra.... As I have said in the past.... That is a long swim!
George... Think you have me confused with someone else... Never had hair that long!
Ginger... Nice job.... She'll have to Imagine that trip because the market isn't exactly booming here.
Ginger... As far as the Ritz in Paris... I'll move that to the top of the list after I win the lottery.
Ginger - I love your comments! Dan - do you hear that 2 votes for the Ritz and Paris........0 for the hike!
George - has Dan been blogging under a false persona and is really Danielle? lol
Dan - Who is that woman?
Sandra... Fine! I'll endure the trip as long as you toss in a couple bonus closings to pay of it!
George... Sounds like you have some serious technical issues.... Try "Unsubscribe" to me then "Subscribe" again to see if it fixes the photo...
Hey - George - is it time to get the old eyes checked? Just checked out your "buddy's list" and Dan's floating head appears above the picture you posted. That photo belongs to Laura Monroe, Rocklin CA, a virtual Real Estate Assistant.....
Dan - I'm not the one with the reputation to uphold. : )
Dan, I guess I could try that, but the picture that is there now is more pleasant to look at than yours ...... LOL
You make a great looking female ........ LOL
Sandra,
If Dan doesn't want to go, I will be happy to volunteer to go with you. We can go shopping, he can go climb a mountain.
Hmmm, maybe I should change my name to Pattie? Pattie in Palmetto has a nice ring to it.
I just read the comment thread on this. ha ha ha ha ha Poor George and his icon troubles. And you and Sandra assuring him there were no troubles. I hope he hasn't been scarred.
You're sounding like the NEXT GERALDO SHOW coming soon!! LOL
I don't doubt you help the people along the Connecticut Shoreline see dreams come true!! Experts help make DREAMS COME TRUE!! Keep Dreamin...
Maggie... To late for a name change now... Unless you want to try a dual identity....
Susie... Haven't heard of Geraldo in years... Does he make dreams happen on some new show?
