Dan, the map is confusing. It makes it seem like Main Street turns into Crescent Street which than turns into Main Street Ext., and that is not so. Crescent Street is the side street that runs in front of the Hospital. Main Street turns directly into Main Street Ext., which than turns into Saybrook Road.
If you are coming from the North the first exit off of the Rt 17 off ramp is the easiest way to get there, but if you are coming from the South the easiest way would be exit 11 off of Rt 9 go straight at the light at the light and then make a left at the end onto Saybrook Road. Go about 1 mile and the house is shortly after the CVS and just before the Rt 9 on ramp.
There is no exit to the RT 17 off ramp when you are going North on Rt 9.
